New Economic Start 2012

Since I've been studying at NES there were many memorable events. Therefore, now I'm going to tell about one of them. About New Economic Start 2012.

The NES Start has been holding since 2009 and joins participants from Russia, China, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, USA. It is a charity multicontinental run where every participant should pay a fee for helping children from orphanages.
I first heard about NES Start this summer and decided to go immediately.
It was a cloudy day with non-sunshine. However, in my opinion, weather like this is the most suitable for running. The organisation was admirable! There were many volunteers cheering up participants during the distation, providing them water and food. I was glad to see many NES professors on this event. It is very important for students to realize that professors are not only good  at subjects they teach but also at different kinds of activities. In addition, it is a great chance to compete with them because there aren't others possibilities to do it.

The start began with short warm-up that is necessary for jogging to not get a trauma during the running.

Then a photograph did a general photo and all participants were ready to start.
It is worth saying that running was hard for me because of not enough trainings the month before. However, I tried to run as fast as I can and finished distance of 5 kilometres 30rd of about 180 participants with result 21 minutes and 50 seconds. The most difficult distance for me were last 100 metres because I was too tired and wanted to overtake participant ahead of me. I did it and was very glad because, in my opinion, the most important victory is a self-conquest! Participating in New Economic Start was great experience for me and I'll continue running undoubtebly!
That which does not kill us makes us stronger!

P.S. Unfortunately, I haven't found all photos from NES Start so I'll try to add them to this topic as fast as I find them.

Krasnoyarsk Summer School

The longer I live, the more I understand that the main memoirs in our life connected with places that changed us for the better. I'm not an exception.

The place I'd like to tell about is Krasnoyarsk Summer School (In Russian: КЛШ ). Klsh was established in 1976 and since then it go every year. Every year KSS unifies the 250 cleverest and talanted students especially from Krasnoyarsk region and others Russian cities who are interested in different kinds of science.
KSS has rich traditions, own song-book written by tutors and students, dedicated lectors who go there and teach students every year not getting money for it...It's so difficult for me to tell you all what I want to tell because a picture paints a thousand words. However, I'll try to descript this place and explain why it is very important for me.
KSS is a place without defined goals. For the first view, it can be strange for people who have never been there. But it is just a first view because everyone can define goals by himself.
There are four scientists areas where students learn Biology,Maths,Physics, Economics and others. It is a great chance to develop yourself! You may attend many lectures told by professional lecturers from leading Russian and American universities.
In addition to these facts, there are many studio and concerts where everyone can show his talents. It is a mini-country with own laws, traditions and people. Moreover, KSS includes special days  devoted to scientists areas. There are many entertainments on these days!
I first went to the KSS when I was 17 years old. The first impression was very friendly atmosphere: tutors and students song, played on the guitars, shouted chants. I was shown that all students should work as a team and what a great thing to do it!
KSS's motto is :"Every day, every hour, whole life - make yourself better". It became my life motto as well as Krasnoyarsk Summer School became my favourite place.

It was just a descriprive part of KSS so I really like to continue my telling about it in my next blogs!

Dreams come true

Have you ever been on the official football match? If you haven't, I hardly recommend you to go to this event!

When I was young, I used to watch many football matches between national and club teams on TV. I was always excited when my favourite team scored and all of spectators and commentators were shouting: “Goal! Goal! Goal”! I got unbelievable feelings!   It made me happy and raised my mood!  Because of these facts it’s not too difficult to understand that I’ve always dreamt to go to the real match on the stadium.
Unfortunately, my little town didn’t have any professional teams so I just could watch football on TV and support teams through the TV screen.
The lack of opportunities made me sad but I always knew that one day I would attend a real football stadium! So did I.
Every year Russian football team participates in selection to World Football Championship or Europe Championship. For instance, now it is a qualification round to WC 2014 in Brazil. As you possibly know, the national team must play matches called “home matches” (it means that foreign football team must come to our country’s stadium and play here) and “guest matches” (our national team must go to the other country) so I knew that would be a “home” football match between Russia and Northern Ireland in Moscow. Because of being here I decided to go in one second.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I went to the stadium. There were many people with Russian flags shouting: “Russia!” Then the match began and I saw the footballers who I had always watched on TV.  Great!
Our team defeated Northern Ireland 2-0 so I was very glad to have fun and had my dream came true!
To sum up, I’d like to say that being in a real stadium is quite different than watch it on TV. For this reason, I’m going to attend the next “home” match in 7, October.  Let’s join to me!

That's me

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog. I have never had it so it is a new experience for me. Therefore, I hope we will communicate with each other and exchange the important information, share our interests and tell stories about our life.
Due to my first blog, I'd like to introduce myself.

I was born in Kansk, Kranoyarskiy krai.  Kansk is the little, cold Syberian town with population of about 100,000. It hasn't many industries and it is impossible to get a good degree there so I always knew that I would go studying to the big city.

In Kansk I studied in gymnasium 11 forms.
During the studying I really liked to partcipate in intellectual competitions so I decided to go to the university up to it.
I've done it so now I'm in Moscow.

Living in Moscow is the challenge because I've never been there before. Somehow, I hope everything will be OK. In the university I'm finding new friends and getting many useful knowledge as I always hoped! NES and HSE support many opportunities and open perspectives for future. I'm very glad to study here.

In my free time, I like reading, jogging, attend a gym, dancing, throwing knifes and shooting. I think everyone should have different kinds of activities except studying, A rolling stones gathers no moss!

Especially I'd like to tell what I hope to learn in English class.
In my town I didn't have good opportunities to study except attending English school in 11 form so I believe to improve my speaking and writing skills as much as I can. I think it is really because I have the native speaker teacher David Atterberry and classmates who have the advanced level of English.

I wish you respond to my blog any time!
